Did a little more digging. That update to McAfee that you see from last week, the 19th, apparently included a feature to encrypt my hard drive. I'm not sure why this would have caused a problem today (and not in the past week), but I wonder if having an encrypted hard drive within the virtual machine means that my entire 100GB would get allocated.
