with vmsphere client running i unplugged 1 HD - no problem.
At same time i was logged via ssh into 1 of the linux boxes - no problem
the same linux box has a web server running - this stopped functioning.
I tried putting back in the HD and taking out the other HD - same results as above.
I am trying to find documentation on the above and how it should work - do I have to configure each vm server to use the Raid? if anyone can help, thanks

what is configuration of physical server.
