vShield EDGE for vCloud Director

Hi Folks,

I'm trying to configure EDGE in HA for vCloud Director. I have configured vShield Manager. But while I try to add EDGE appliance in HA I get the below error:

'Invalid IP Address input 'com.vmware.vshield.edge.dto.IpAddressDto@50ac3ed' for field 'featureConfigs.features[2].ipAddresses'

(please note in attached snapshot it is shows like I created only one Interface. But I have tried creating two interfaces also (one internal and one uplink) each with 1 IP address and its subnet. Both this interface IP are from different VLAN. I hope this is what recommended).

In Detail:

Internal IP: 172.168.10.49/24

External IP: 10.20.49.36/24 (gateway configured for this subnet)

HA management IPs: 172.168.10.50 and 51 (internal pointed to internal)

When I configure EDGE with out HA enabled, add EDGE wizard is getting completed. But later after deploying EDGE appliance the process failed with the following error:

'Failed to perform operations on virtual machine 'vm-2605' for edge 'edge-2'.

I have attached screenshot of both errors.

This is the first time I'm configuring EDGE for vCloud Director. I think I have missed some basic concept here. Please help me resolve this issue.

Thanks and Regards,

Hari.
