Cluster members with different management network addresses

Hi All,

I have a Vsphere cluster which has 6 members managed by VCenter 5.1 . All servers are HP Proliant DL 380 G7. Now I'm in the process of cluster upgrade  from ESXi 4.1 to ESXi 5.1. In addition to upgrade I need to move management network from one set of NICs to another. The problem is those NIC sets are in different subnets. Old one has 172.27.76.0/24 addresses, new 10.10.0.0/22. So, plan is put hosts into maintenance mode one by one, upgrade ESXi version and move management network to new NICs set. But I have no idea how my VCenter server and other cluster members will react on different management network subnets of cluster members. Is there any broadcast traffic which could be rejected but such configuration? If somebody had such experience I would appreciate your suggestion.

Thank you!

Regards,

Alex
