Environment
View 4.6 POC environment offering up Win7 Desktops.
Issue:
User was logging in with VDI 4.6 client with the option "Log in as current user:". Once she selected her media pool, her VDI desktop game up with
a prompt to login to her VDI VM desktop. Her only option on the VM was to select "Other". When she supplied her AD credentials, it indicated bad password. In fact, this user was using the correct password.
So I actually had this user add our domain prefix to her name on the VM login attempt AND then it worked fine.
I then had her log off her VM, and un-checked the paramenter above(Log in as current users). Once this parameter was uncheck, the AD credentials were passed seamlessly to he VDI VM desktop. She was able to access her VDI desktop successfully with no further issue.
Reverting back to the option gets the same erroneous results. I actually upgraded her VDI client from 4.6 to 5.0 to see if the behavior was fixed. The VDI 5.0 client did not resolve her issue.
The View client acts like it is using an old cached password. Has the community seen this behavior before?
Thanks in advance...
