Configured shortcuts in Logitech SetPoint and VMware workstation

Hi,

some time ago I've started using Windows 7 as host system and VMware workstation 9 with Linux guest inside for regular work. I have mouse with more buttons and previously I have mapped on mouse buttons some shortcuts in Linux system. In VMware I can only see two buttons on the mouse + wheel. When I installed Logitech SetPoint and uberOptions extension, I've mapped this shortcuts on Windows host. It works fine - keyboard shortcuts works properly in Linux guest too. Problem is when I reboot Windows guest - although shortcuts in the Windows are still working, even in VMware workstation GUI (one shortcut is ctrl+pg up/down and I can switch between VMs tab in workstation) they aren't working inside Linux guest. If I uninstall SetPoint, install it again and set all options again, it's working again.

Question is what is can cause this behaviour that only inside guest I can't see keyboard events sent from software in host system. I want only want to see buttons in guest so if is another solution I will be happy too. But only another solution I have seen yet is map USB mouse as a device in guest which I lost mouse in host... and it's not usable for me...
