Sorry if this has been asked and answered I couldn't see any results in the community. I've got a Fusion 5.0.3 install and am running multiple VM's at different times. All of my Windows VM's (Windows 7, 2008, etc) are able to successfully use the "clean up virtual machine" button to reclaim the un-used disk space on the file system. I have one CentOS VM however which does not allow me to use this feature. I "believe" that this worked for the same VM a couple months ago but can't confirm.
Is there any reason why this option would be unavailable? Is there anther way I can shrik this VM? I've allocated 80GB to the VM and it is thin provisioned and at peak used 72GB. Now it's only got 40GB-ish of data consumed yet the file system footprint is still up in the 70's.
Thanks for any help or direction!
